Wireless Technologies

CDMA 1 X RTTCode Division Multiple Access - a 2.75-generation wideband technology used in digital cellular, personal communications services. Supports Internet connections with data rates up to 153.6 kbps kbps. Actual speed depends on the network conditions, coverage and load.

CDMA 1 X EV-DO Rev 0Code Division Multiple Access, Evolution Data-Only a 3G wideband standard for high speed wireless broadband. It is one of two major 3G wireless standards and supports data rates up to 2.4 megabits per second. EV-DO represents an evolution in capacity, data speeds and new service capabilities from 1X mobile networks. Actual speed depends on the network conditions, coverage and load.

CDMA 1 X EV-DO Rev ACode Division Multiple Access, Evolution Data-Only, a 3G wideband standard for high speed wireless broadband. It is one of two major 3G wireless standards and supports data rates up to 3.1 Mbps download and data rates up to 1.8Mbps upload. EVDO Revision A represents an evolution in capacity, data speeds, and new service capabilities from EVDO Rel 0 mobile networks. Actual speed depends on the network conditions, coverage and load.

gpsOne®QUALCOMM’s gpsOne® position-location technology enables highly accurate, widely available position-location technology to be deployed on wireless modems. *

Device Capabilities

Speed Max DownlinkThe theoretical maximum speeds experienced by users when transmitting data from another location to their computers (eg. receiving emails or files). These speeds are dependant on factors including network conditions, coverage and load. 3.1Mbps 3.1Mbps 3.1Mbps 3.1Mbps

Speed Max UplinkThe theoretical maximum speed experienced by users when transmitting data from their computers to another location (eg. sending emails or files). These speeds are dependant on factors including network conditions, coverage and load. 1.8Mbps 1.8Mbps 1.8Mbps 1.8Mbps

Speed Typical DownlinkThe typical data speeds experienced by users when transmitting data from another location to their computers (eg. receiving emails or files). These speeds are dependant on factors including network conditions, coverage and load. 600Kbps-1.4Mbps 600Kbps-1.4Mbps 600Kbps-1.4Mbps 600Kbps-1.4Mbps

Receive DiversityA term used to describe an advanced radio feature. Receive Diversity refers to the use of two separate receive antennas to collect up the maximum signal energy from un-correlated signal paths in order to optimize signal strength and performance.

Receiver EqualizerAdvanced signal processing that reduces interference and increases the data rates available to 3G users. This means that higher data rates are available more often throughout the coverage area and performance is improved in areas with lots of noise from other channels.
