Our head office is in the Vancouver suburb of Richmond, British Columbia. We also have large offices in Carlsbad, California, and Newark, California with smaller satellite offices in North America, Europe and Asia. 

The Sierra Wireless head office is home to approximately 200 employees and is located about 10 minutes from the ocean, 20 minutes from downtown Vancouver and only 30 minutes from the mountains. Richmond is part of the Greater Vancouver, a young and ethnically diverse urban community of about two million that blends Asian, European and Canadian traditions to create its own singular West Coast style. People here think, eat and shop globally, but they love living locally. For five years running, Greater Vancouver has been named one of the world's top three cities for quality of life. The region also has a thriving high-tech industry that is especially strong in the Internet, multimedia and biotech sectors. 

Our Southern California office is home to approximately 100 Sierra Wireless employees. It is located in the city of Carlsbad - a unique coastal community located 35 miles north of San Diego and surrounded by mountains, lagoons and the Pacific Ocean. Carlsbad has more than seven miles of beautiful beaches and a thriving local economy that includes a healthy tourism base and features high-tech, multi-media, health care and biotechnology corporations. It is also the home of two world-class golf resorts and over 30 golf industry businesses. Carlsbad has a temperate climate much like Vancouver, but with an average rainfall of only 10 inches per year.

Our newest office is located in Newark, CA and is home to approximately 45 Sierra Wireless employees. Newark is conveniently located at the south eastern end of San Francisco Bay – close to San Jose, Oakland, and San Francisco. The area is well known for its flourishing high-tech industry, the Silicon Valley.
